MW3 To Add Color Blind Assist Option.

Good news for all those color blind gamers out there, Sledgehammer and Infinity Ward have decided to add color blind assistance to modern warfare 3. This feature first appeared in Black Ops and will be transferred over to MW3 to the delight of many color blind gamers. You can head over to Sledgehammer games official blog to read the entry for yourself but we will also post it below if you are too lazy to click. They do a question of the week on their blog so maybe you should just bookmark the page and check back weekly for new information.

I know it’s a long shot but i would like to know if the upcoming title, MW3 multiplayer has the option for color blind gamers. i.e.. alternate colors like in Black Ops.
As a color blind gamer this will a big influence as to whether I buy the game.

Research suggests that as much as 6% of the general population suffers from Color Blindness, or more accurately Color Vision Deficiency. Men (9-12%) are 20x more likely to be afflicted than women (0.25-1%).  Those numbers vary depending on which source you quote, but we estimate that nearly a million gamers are playing Call of Duty every day with this issue.  I am happy to report that we are working on a Color Blind Assist option for Modern Warfare 3.
So start honing your MP skills, Nick.  You won’t be able blame your red-green deficiency for all that friendly-fire come November 8^th.

Team Fortress 2 is now free to play “forever”

Industry trade website Develop-Online has revealed in an interview with Valve’s Robin Walker that Team Fortress 2 is now permanently free to play, and will solely be supported by in-game item purchases.

TF2′s switch to F2P was rumored and expected, but perhaps not this soon. Walker says that Valve had been exploring the idea since September 2010. “We’ve been toying with the idea of making Team Fortress free-to-play ever since the Mann-conomy update,” Walker said. “The data we got back from that update leads us to believe that TF2 would be more successful as a completely free product.” Read the rest of the interview with Walker at Develop-Online.

Prior to today, Team Fortress 2 was in the middle of a “free week.” The game’s Über Update should deploy later this evening.

Angry Birds

Angry Birds, is a strategic game which main focus is to clear the stage or pigs with a set number of birds at your disposal. Each bird has it's own special characteristics which see severely impacts the way you will use the bird. The games focus is soloy on singleplayer but nails the games replay value and joy.

Conclusion, 9.3/10

Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus

Modern Combat 2, is a first person shorter which can be purchased on any iDevice for $6.99 at the app store. Modern Combat 2's control is very stiff at first and may take some getting use to ,but if the technique is mastered can lead to more proficient gameplay. Mc2's singleplayer has a unique story line which has some well scripted moments which put a smile on your face being it is a hand held game. The multiplayer consists of Bluetooth, Local Wifi and World wide multiplayer. The ranking system and the leaderboards have a high effect for the replay value of this game. The unlocks and the perk system are fairly balanced and as you increase rank the easier it is to kill an enemy. The games framerate is great compared to other games in the app store but could be a little laggy at times for example when stunned by a flash grenade. Modern Combat 2 really sets the bar for how a first person shooter for any iDevice should be
